Have no anxiety – Be confident

Rejoice in the Lord always. I shall say it again: rejoice!Your kindness* should be known to all. The Lord is near. Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.  Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus Philippians 4: 4 – 7

1361I want to be confident.
I want to trust God completely.
Sometimes my emotions – namely anxiety – get the best of me. And then I sit back and spend a little time being grateful for the gifts that God has given me.
Life.
A good husband.
Good Health.
Quilting.
Meaningful work.
Good friends.
Lovely Quilters.
A willingness to explore this work of quilting.
I’m a little unsure of my self right now. I’m kind of okay with it. I want to take a big step and that’s causing the anxiety. I know that if this is God’s will then it will happen.
Chocolate Swirl end of day 1All of this is a gift to be opened and explored and enjoyed.
I ask for you to pray for two special requests. Thank you so much!
God bless!

  1. Always has been one of my favorite passages and music. Teri, I will most certainly pray for you in this new step. I felt the same way when I had to step off into the unknown when I retired. I have yet to begin to make any money with my craft, but it has been an almost endless blessing for me since I took that step. I often think of these times in a way that was so graphically expressed in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade where he steps off the ledge in faith only to find there really is a bridge across the ravine that isn’t visible until you step off. Sew hold His hand and take your steps forward by His guidance. Pray for me that I might figure where to take my work from here. Up until now, I have been almost completely in the learning phase. While I will never stop that phase, I feel need to move forward from here. God’s blessings.
