Enjoying the creativity of others

dyeing 2 sew faveOver the weekend I went to the Northern Star Quilt Show – both days as Sunday I worked in a booth with a friend. Saturday afternoon I stopped by one of the vendors to look at her gorgeous fabrics. I love them because the colors are clear.
Then she had a small grouping of fabrics that were experiments. I have to admit I went all weak in the knees with these. When I saw this one I had to pause because as I looked there was something more. Something subtle, inviting me to look. And oh! how that subtlety brought me great joy.
Philemon 7: For I have experienced much joy and encouragement* from your love, because the hearts of the holy ones have been refreshed by you, brother.

I left the quilt show tired and refreshed with great joy and I’m looking forward to the next couple of weeks and the work I need to do in order to take the next step in a long time goal.

And I get to enjoy the beautiful creativity of someone who obviously loves what she does.

God bless!
