This morning after video messaging a friend singing, “girl you’re amazing just the way you are!”
the thought of sitting in a quiet Church yesterday and thinking about the first reflection for Forty Days of Prayer for the Creative bounced against the inner walls of my head like so many bouncy balls. Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 seem a good place to begin, because beginnings are a good place to start.
After a little bit of thinking I am going to take a couple of weeks to get this in order, to do a bit more research and reflection for an entire forty days. That said I’m going to touch on the prompt word from that moment of prayer: Process. God’s process for creation is: Day 1 – idea, do the work for the day, call it good, and done.
Day 2 – Repeat.
Day 3 – Repeat.
Day 4 – Repeat.
Day 5 – Repeat.
Day 6 – Repeat.
Day 7 – Rest.
Great example, right?! As I look at this there are several reflections from the telling of the creation story.
With this said, a direction to go I’m going to design a quilt for a blog hop and continue piecing Sunrise, Sunset.
