Love one another as I have loved you
Husbands love your wives as Christ love the Church
Wives love your husbands
Twenty five years on Wednesday.
What a great day
What an amazing life
Together
There’s a bit more familial love – 1963 my mom’s mom and 2013 my dads mom passed away. Fifty years to the day. I got to know my dad’s mom as she lived until my mid-forties. I treasured each moment with her.
Early Monday afternoon I knew I needed to read The Problem with Tough Love in Eating Disorder Recovery. Love is patient, love is kind….love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. Caralyn shares a different approach to loving someone in the throes of an eating disorder, depression, mental illness. Gentle, compassionate love.
When I logged into WordPress to read Caralyn’s post – Come on, Friend came up in my feed. In stopping to read it I was moved, in the very core of my being; heart caught in my throat, and all that. And a child shall lead them.
Love.
It’s Real.
God bless,
Teri
