For a good long while here on A Quilters Heart my writing involved a particular spiritual gift of mine . . . that of a word of encouragement. Encouragement as a gift is something seemingly delightful, until that encouragement involves another part which is encouraging someone to pause, think about where they are, and make some changes in their life. In other words, correct them in some way. Blarg.
This isn’t that kind of post though.
Before coming to finish editing and post an episode of Quilters Rule the World I made a pour over coffee and asked the question, “How do you plan your dinner?” A good question indeed and wonder how you would answer.
And with that I’m going to go spend about 20 minutes quilting before doing anything else, including the necessary reading for the Institute for Spiritual Direction. It is amazing to me that there are only 3 formation weekends left.
